That memorial is quite humbling. When we were there, I couldn't get over the silence surrounding...tears flowed when I found Frank's name. (My high school sweetheart)
Perfect! Poignant, and powerful too. I've not seen it in person, but these images of the Viet Nam wall still have the power to make my eyes water. Like NYC's 9/11 memorial, I don't know that I could be strong enough to visit. Thank you for putting this together today.
Beautiful images, Sandra. I visited the traveling Vietnam memorial and was overcome with heartache for all those lives lost. So sad. At the VA the vets I volunteer with are Vietnam vets. xo Diana
