In the weeds and lovin it

About 10 days ago, we were walking Big Boy and I noticed about half the yards we passed were full of beautiful white starry weeds.  It looked like snow on top of the grass.

I yanked up a plant and was shocked it was about 15 inch long runner. Planted it in the planter with y wildflower seed and wow is it beautiful.

It's only a weed if it's not wanted... you want it, so it is a wildflower. Hoorah to that I say!!! YAM xx

  10. Ah-mazing, how incredibly WHITE those are. Yep, just like freshly-fallen snow. I don't think there's anything man-made that could rival it. Hope you're shoulder (etc.) is a little better?

  11. Now that's my kind of weed. Really pretty and it looks like its thriving in your yard.
Nice to see you posting a new post.
Hopefully your shoulder is getting some relief.
Going to be a hot one today but at least it's not humid.
Had a decent night's sleep last night...it's amazing how different it makes the morning seem.

  13. Sandra, I have always believed that weeds are just misunderstood wildflowers and that said we had a lot of misunderstood blooms in our VA yard! The Florida Snow is lovely. I hope that your arm and shoulder are feeling better and we will be looking forward to updates on Bob as well.

  16. I. Like your local story white snow. It looks less icy cold. Yet I do love the once in a while beauty of the real snowfalls up here. Just wish they were less frequent. We have spring at last..
