Night Blooming Cactus Nature Friday
My label for our night blooming cactus, has 15 posts over the years. Click Here to see it.
This plant is on my daily walkabout route. For some reason, ours is not blooming this year. Usually it BURST on the week of the 4th of July and again on the week of my birthday, Sept 5th.
Wow! How did you do this, the night setting on your camera? Because it looks like daylight. It is spectacular!! And I get to see what you would call the vines, or maybe...well, not leaves. Just the cactus plant itself I guess. AMAZING!!! Like the cover of a National Geographic.
God's masterpieces are so amazing. Those blossoms are huge and I am amazed by the cactus's support of the tree. Does it only bloom and last a day? Curious if it has a fragrance. Not sure if I'm "care-giving" today or tomorrow so I'm just puttering to pass the time away. Sue
Wonder why it's not blooming?? Hoping it surprises you on your birthday! We are both September Girls!!
ReplyDeleteThe flower is pretty. I wonder why yours didn't bloom.
