Tent Party?

What do you think the tent is for. Found on daily walk.
Bob said to park a car under, I said Family Party

While walking that day, maybe someone is getting ready for the 4th of July

Two men and a woman riding bicycles side by side down the road I can hear them coming and could tell they were talking talking talking as they passed me by one of the men said it's just not worth the money, the 60 to $70,000 to go find that job

WHAT????

  5. My guess would be a 4th of July picnic.
On the overheard conversation that's crazy. But then is he saying he would have to spend that much to go find a job or it's not worth looking if all he's going to get is a job that pays that much. I would take a job that paid me $60,000.

  9. You said "Forgot to say we had to wait till 11 for an appointment to go in the lobby when we went last week to remove me from the bank account on tops. And then yesterday we had to wait and wait to go to Bob's 1:45 p.m. appointment that was a 40-minute drive away and then we had to sit in the car and wait for 35 minutes before they let us in the doctor's office and all of this was wearing masks"...OMG!!

  11. I don't know, but it looks a little frail, like it could blow over if the wind started to blow. You have to let us know once you find out.

  13. Like others have said, I'm going with a family party. Sure hope it's tightly secured … I can just envision the wind getting up underneath and taking it away like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz!
60-$70 grand sounds mighty lucrative. The only thing that comes to mind is relocating to Dubai or some place like that to be considered for employment. Thanks, but I'd rather stay poor right here on the slow lane.

  17. Yes, what???? My in-laws neighbor used to loan them one of those tents for their annual 4th of July backyard picnic. The whole neighborhood used to turn up, plus the family. Someone else loaned them outdoor fans as it used to be hotter than hot and people would all have their turn sitting near them. Well I know I did as I turned splotchy :) Happy 4th to you and Bob Sandra :)
