I am thankful we have insurance that will pay for Bob's eye surgery, thankful for dedicated Doctors.
and
I am thankful for all of you because you care when I tell you that Today is the day for Bob's surgery to remove the tumor from his eye socket.
We will be at first surgery at 10 am today, 2nd surgery to repair eyelid at 3:00.
The photo above is our bougainvillea in the front yard, and the house across the street.
NO we do not have a lake in our yard and it did not rain.
I took the photo to Lunapic..I am thankful for all the free software I play in and for computer skills and INTERNET ACESS.
See you later with an update

We had to stay in a hotel and wait till the next day for the second repair surgery. So you really lucked out here. Praying and waiting. Thankful also that the Covid did not postpone it. Your picture is gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteI love that picture!
ReplyDeleteWe all hope the surgery goes well and the healing can begin. That's a horrible thing to have hanging over your heads...it will be such a relief to have it over. Looking forward to your next post.
Much love, Jean

ReplyDeleteI often say to myself, 'tomorrow at this time this will all be over'.
Take Care.
I don't know if it's like this for you and Bob, but anytime either of us is facing a procedure my 'innards' just get tied up in knots. The waiting and anticipation is the worst! If only through cyber space, we've got your backs!
ReplyDeleteThat puddle/lake effect is so cool. I may be an old lady, but would be tempted to jump right in the middle of it with both feet. :)
Sandra...9:30 am on the East Coast and I'm sending you and Bob loads and loads of prayers and hugs. I agree with above comment the waiting and anticipation is the worst
ReplyDeleteHugs Cecilia
PS meant to say how much I love this photo

ReplyDeleteSo grateful the insurance is going to cover his surgery!! Surgery is always a scary thing but necessary at the same time. Thinking and praying for a complete recovery. Your photo is so peaceful you definitely have skills I don't possess. Hang in there!!

ReplyDeleteI think the first surgery is finished and you are on to the next one according to my time zone.
Praying for both of you and the doctors and for a full recovery.
Love you
Love the photo too.

ReplyDeleteI am late getting to look at blogs, so I would guess that Bob's surgery is long done. i pray that it went well and healing can begin.
ReplyDeleteSending prayers that everything went well!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! What a neat affect that gave the photo. I tried to grow one of those bushes, and killed it right away. I wish they wouldn't trick us Okies into thinking we can grow those tropical plants in our yards. Wishing him successful surgeries and a speedy recovery. Be safe while out and about also!
ReplyDeleteI hope the only reason I did not hear from you is because you were simply to tired to deal with emails, etc. Will wait for your post tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photo! We will be praying and have been praying. Thanks for sharing with us. Your thankfulness list is a very excellent one. HUGS across the miles. XO
