Random thoughts while making the bed

This is my view each morning as I make my bed. While making the bed, my mind was in gear.
My thoughts as I made the bed

I love those curtains, I am so glad I moved them in here.

The warm glow of the room makes me feel happy.

Take a photo, show my blog friends what I see.

If I do show them, what if  they think the bed touches the chair and my bedroom is tiny.

so tell them  it is five feet from bed to the dog bed on the floor.

I wonder why Beau will not sleep in those chairs.

 Baby and Jake loved them.

Big Boy would not sleep in them either.

I love my smart phone. and its camera!

I need to rub candle wax on the sliding glass door frame.
I better go do it now before I forget to.
I might as well tell my blog friends about candles and doors.

If you have a sliding glass door that refuses to slide well, clean out the dirt with a brush, take a candle and rub it back and forth, back and forth, on the tracks, be sure to do this on both sides of tracks
and Bingo The door glides perfectly.
There were more but I will spare you. FOR NOW
Sorry my posts are so WORDY these days. I still don't have anyone to talk to but Bob and Beau. I love talking! Can you tell?

  1. I really like your bedroom, and of course enlarged your photo. It is uncluttered and Zen. A good place to rest and feel safe. But especially I love the peach chairs. Both the color and style, I like everything about them.

  2. love your thoughts while making the beds... if we do something common and ponder about other things, we sometimes get the best ideas ;O)

  3. Your bedroom is enormous. Besides the bed, we can't even get a kitchen stool in ours (and the bed was downsized from the last place we lived). We have just managed to squeeze in one small bedside cabinet. Agree with you on the warm glow.

  5. Your bedroom looks big, I do not have room for one chair.
We do not have sliding doors, but thanks for the tip.
    Take care, enjoy your day!

  6. I thought your bedroom looked really big in comparison to mine. There is no way I could fit those chairs in my bedroom.

That trick works on sticky drawers, too... or if no candle, then bar soap will do! Your room is gorgeous - it does not look small. YAM xx

  8. Your room looks very warm, comfy and inviting. I never knew that about the sliding glass door. Guess what I'll be doing today? Your posts aren't wordy at all. Have you seen mine? Now those are some wordy posts! You could write tons more and we'd all be happily reading along. :)

  9. What a neat topic! Glad to know I'm not the only person who wonders what other people think when I post a picture. And I get what you call 'random thoughts' all the time while I'm brushing my teeth. (Weird)

I know I've said so before, but I so love your chairs. They remind me of old Hollywood.

I love how your mind works and your bedroom is lovely...glad you moved the curtains in there too.
I need to do that candle thing on our sliding patio screen.
Nice weather today and it's only going to be in the high 90"s no humidity...

  15. Your bedroom looks so warm and peaceful. For some reason, my sliding doors don't get stuck even though the tracks are full of sandy dust. Should it happen, I now know what to do, candlewax.

  16. Here's another tip about candlewax - if you need a waxed thread, get out your candle and pull the thread back/forwards on the wax - bingo waxed thread!

And why do I know that, I used that tip for all my pamphlet stitched handmade books, the tip from another bookmaker who lives locally to me...
