Ctrl ZZZZZZZZ

I need a Ctrl Z for my memory.
Some may not know that Ctrl Z on the keyboard will put back what you deleted,
as in typed words or photos.
I made a list for Home Depot. I needed 5 items, wrote 4 on the list and took the below photo of hat the parts would look like and the numbers to match the commode that needs new guts.

I did not write the guts on the list, because I had the photo.
I came home with 4 items and NO guts.
Ctrl Z would have put what I forgot BACK to avoid the trip I have to make again
this will be the 4th trip. Bob added 2 more items.
I may be living in Ground hog day and repeating the trips to Home Depot daily for a long time.

PEE SSSS this is MY bathroom that is not flushing correctly! But The Man taught me how to flush it to use it until I can get the parts. This is a water saver and can't be flushed by bucket.
Why would someone with IBS forget this part?????

  1. I hope you eventually got the part! then Bob can fix it? O.K., first, I did not know that water savers will not flush with a bucket. And about Control Z, I had NO idea!!! Will it bring back deleted things in any format? Like writing an e-mail? Commenting on a blog? Typing in Word? Because I have been trouble with words flashing, then they get deleted and I have to type all over. This would help!

  3. Does it put back long comments that strangely delete themselves before you get to the publish button?

  6. I am very familiar with Ctrl Z. I used it often in PSE.
If I don't write things down when I go to the store I always forget something. Even writing it down doesn't always help. I had to take a picture of the vitamins I get so that I get the right thing. There are just too many different ones and I needed a visual to remember which bottle I buy.

  7. Hello,

Ctrl Z, I did not know. It does sound very handy to undelete your delete.
Hubby and I start a new list as soon as we are home from the store. We seem to forget stuff or they simply do not have we we wanted. Take care, enjoy your day!

  13. Me, too! (What Sandie just said.)
Were these parts not available on Amazon? I'd do practically anything to avoid having to go in Home Depot. At least w/o an Assist Human.

  14. You got me worried now with 15 miles to my stores, I just can't afford to forget anything. But as age creeps in, I'm forgetting everything. So it may be a good thing that Faith would be the only one to remind me should I forget bo buy her treats.

I love my new toilet, may it never break down or need some new part or other.

  19. We are too old for diy so we recently had a plumber come and replace it. Why will bucket not work on your water saver? It does on ours
