Ferns Ferns Ferns

Above ferns from 11 months back when I dug them up and planted here in 3 pots

Current photo

My view from my kitchen glass doors and the window over the counter. I never tire of it.

Ferns here require only a small amount of water and zero care to live.

The week old newly purchased fern is so pretty, I added Mothers Frog to guard it. My aunt made this for Mothers frog collection way back in the mid 70's.

  1. I really love the frog, and he is the perfect guard and companion for the fern. The fern is beautiful, especially in the sunlight. Does the frog have a name? If not, I suggest Buster.

  13. A room with a view! My mother loved to look out over her yard while doing dishes ... how she'd despair when coming to visit and find my kitchen curtains pulled back tightly. (I still do, particularly after dark, worrying if someone's out there looking in.)
    Anyway! Yours are gorgeous!

  16. I always thought ferns required a good amount of water. Yours are sure thriving. Probably that stunning frog guarding them is doing the trick.

  21. Wow your ferns grow quite well. I don't have enough shady areas for ferns to grow well for me. - Oh before I forget I viewed the posts about your house and the new paint job. I like the colors you all picked.
