Please scroll to the bottom ot this post and follow the sunrise changing from Bottom to top.
I just snapped myself silly with the cell phone.

Photos are starting from the bottom going up.

Scroll up slowly and see the sun rise as its happens, by 6:40 when we left to walk the sky was blue
YES! I did take this many photos. I hope the owls were enjoying this moment with me. They did survive the tree coming down, I hear them but no longer see them.

  5. Perfect start to a day. Did Beau take on a slightly pink hue as well in that light? We have a saying about red in the morning, shepherds' warning....

  9. Well phooey, Blogger ate my comment again.
These are such a treat! Sunrise has always been my favorite (v. sunset), but here in Alabama there's too many trees. I'd never admit it to Tom, but that's one thing I miss about Arizona.
I'm happy to hear the owls all survived that ordeal. I wonder if they were more frightened or angry. My bet's on the latter.

  14. I love these sunrise photos, great idea to take so many to see the difference. It only takes seconds to see the change. Good to hear your owls are still around.
