Fodder Barrel is low and I thought I would share that I have added frozen blueberries to
my Safe List for IBS..
I played with my favorite cup in PicMonkey Because I love the cup and PicMonkey.
The trick to eating fruit is to eat it in the AM and not PM.
If you stay up to midnight PM at around 3 would be ok. It is not good to lie down after eating fruit.
I count the frozen blueberries, no more than 10. 2 chunks frozen watermelon, 2 frozen strawberries and cover with water.

ReplyDeleteI do enjoy a good smoothie... blueberries are one of my all-time faves! YAM xx
I had no idea about eating fruit in the PM. A slushie sounds delicious.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteI love smoothies, strawberries and blueberries are my favorites.
I remember not to eat fruit in the PM. Have a great day!
I've been on a blueberry smoothie myself. Frozen vanilla yogurt, ice, blueberries & fat free, lactose free milk.
ReplyDeleteSmoothies are my favorite beverage to make and have never tried a slushie, yet. Thanks for all the info on the timing to eat fruit, something I didn’t know either. The smoothies are usually breakfast and blueberries and mangoes are my favorite ingredients with low-fat milk and yogurt.
ReplyDeleteThese photos are beautiful! I'm glad to hear you discovered the blueberries are tummy-friendly.
ReplyDeleteI don't eat fruit, but now I'm going to warn Tom about the timing. He's been on a watermelon kick all summer; more often than not, I discover a half-eaten bowl beside his recliner in the morning.
That sounds so good. I eat a lot of fruit for breakfast. The cherries are in the stores now and they are so good! I eat blueberries, part of a peach and a few cherries every morning while they are in fresh in the stores. Yumo!
ReplyDeleteThat looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteYummm, slushies sound like a perfect solution for you and your tummy.
ReplyDeleteIts going to be so , so, hot today and going into the weekend that a slushie sounds divine. I didn't know about the timing of eating fruit either.

I had no idea you could freeze watermelon. Why is it not good to lay down after fruit? Do the seeds in the strawberries - well would they be something you should be careful with for your bowels?
ReplyDeleteIt looks and sounds delicious!
ReplyDeleteVery refreshing...yesterday we had a high of 95 and HUMID
ReplyDeletetoday 90's but humidity is lower.

Hello Sandra, That's a good tip about not eating fruit late at night. I do eat a lot of fruit, and only recently discovered that those flat looking peaches are delicious, much sweeter than the average peach. Your smoothie looks yummy.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the ID, which I have attributed to you on my blog.:=)
NOM! I really enjoy a good afternoon smoothie too!
ReplyDeleteThat looks delicious. I usually eat mine for breakfast. My doctor told me a few years back when I first started having problems, never to eat anything after 7.00 p.m. I generally stick to that rule unless we are going out with family or friends.
ReplyDeleteI love blueberries and I'm glad they work for you. Thanks for the information about when to eat fruit. ❤️
ReplyDeleteI love your cup, that big handle is just great. I never thought to freeze my watermelon and then make a drink of it, but I must try. It sounds so good. Now that our hot summer is almost over, I'm a bit late, but I will do it. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeletethat’s a very useful info. thank you. I’m craving a nice, healthy blueberry smoothie right now
