I am 78 today, and Happy to blind you with my effulgent self on my special day.
In all of my almost 8 decades of life I have never heard or seen the word effulgent or efulgence.
Along came

Happy Birthday Sandra, and Many Happy Returns. Effulgent is a new word to me too. The Limelight photos of you are fantastic. You were a very cute baby, and it seems to me that you have not lost that cuteness. Lovely photos. During those war years my mother used to cut strips of white cotton material to wind around my hair in sections, to make curls. I think Shirley Temple had a lot to do with it.:=)) Young kids couldn't have straight hair, not like these days.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite is still baby Sandra in front of/in back of that old letter. The original was colorized by the photographer, right? I remember one of me ('57) that looked like a mortician's assistant had been practicing with her make-up.
