Behind the Scenes of the nook

To make the nook full of lights, there has to be the
'behind the scenes" ugly STUFF.
Fairy lights have chargers and usb cords and the tiny BRAINS that tell them to do 6 differernt tricks, blinking, flowing etc.
I was so proud of myself.
At Walmart, in electronics, I found just what I needed to put 3 different chargers in one outlet.
Cost: $30 to $120 to plug in 3 chargers one hole
NOPE!
I headed for the extension cord aisle and browsed til my head hurt.
I laughed with JOY I found one for 6.00
not sure I wanted the one for 6 or the one for 9 which beat the ones in electronics, I wandered along
looking up and down and
SPOTTED THE ONE ABOVE
$3.99
Done and done and now they do my every command, blink, glide, jiggle if wanted
and I do it with ONE REMOTE, not 3..
HE HE HE Bob can't turn them off and on but
The Master Knows the Combo.
Yes it is a tad ugly but who notices with all those lights.
to be continued
Christmas Nook This year, what is in it every day until Christmas.
HO HO HO

Forget the tangled cords, like Rapunzel, I always wanted Lights in my hair.
“I have magic hair that glows when I sing.” — Rapunzel
And now I have them in my
Christmas Nook! Lights that sing, not in my hair

  2. I bought one of those this year for the lights on the tree. There are two plugs that don't fit together and rather than plug them both in to the outlet I wanted to just have one thing to plug in.

I have the very same switch on a set of lights for Halloween. Blinking, flashing, fading, etc.

    1. It's easy to post this week because these are all posts that I had set up to run last week and I pulled it back when I got sick so now I just changed the date and put them on auto

  7. I want to put fairy lights somewhere here now! I did not know they do all this stuff. If you got them from Amazon, please send me the name or link. I need to save this pic to see how to put a lot in one outlet, you are a genius!

And now you will not read a book
    You will not cook
You will sit in front of the nook
    and LOOK!

  8. Brilliant! I think retailers are counting on shoppers being so busy/stressed (that) they don't make time to find alternatives.
Lights make me happy. That's why we chose the pre-lit one -- plug in, plug out. No muss no fuss.

  9. You got a good deal - we have them all over the house. We probably light up the world with stuff. I liked how you waited to you found the exact thing.
    You sound better. Good.
