Downtown Marina

Downtown Marina, Where the rich float
on their great big boats.

Where the poor folk walk and enjoy the view
and take photos just for YOU..

This is all part of our City Riverwalk. This is the label for Riverwalk it has 28 posts and a few i forgot to label. It is a 3 mile walk with River views, and fun things to do.
Museums, Restaurants', Skateboard Park, Memorial Park, Benches and swings to rest or meditate.
Also access to beautiful vintage homes in Point Pleasant.
A great place to spend the day.

  5. Pretty views of the marina, I would love to walk that riverwalk, all 3 miles.

  6. We don't live near the coast so a walk along by a marina would be a treat. Enjoy! Wonderful scenes of the water and boats.

  7. That’s one of the things I really enjoy about our Winter home in Far North Queensland- being close to the water. Here at home the hills/faux mountains are right on our doorstep with an hour or more to the coast. We really should enjoy what we have close by, just as you do with your Riverwalk. Thanks for sharing

  9. Sandra I'm loving the reflections and all the beautiful calm water. I have always heard their are two best day of a 'sailor's life is when he buys his boat and when he sales it'. so much responsibility and liability with them

  10. Lovely to look at, but I couldn't begin to pay for dock rent and upkeep. Ouch!

PS - I'm guessing these photos are from your archives. Haven't clicked on the link yet, but I'm surprised there's no residual damage from the Hurricane.

  11. With humans like mine Sandra-Aunty, we always seem to gravitate to boats (and water of course). Just imagine how scared some of those boats must have been when your hurricane came through. xxx Mr T

  12. Really gorgeous area and a perfect place to walk and enjoy.
Its nice you have someplace like that so close to your home.
Plans changed for today so I am again at Lynne's for 4 hours...and not tomorrow.
I was there for 5 1/2 hours on Tuesday so my brain is having to power up for the day.
At least its not raining and weather guy says it will be a dry but cold week ahead.

  14. These are great photos! I feel like I have been here before, but I expect there are many places in Florida that look like this beautiful area.
