Definitely POO

Pointing out the kitchen window, I said
Bob, did you put that there?
Put What? Where?
The aqua thing on the tree!
Which tree?
the only one outside the kitchen window with a pool noodle on it. Did you put it there?

I don't know, what is it?
THE POOL NOODLE!!!!
What is a pool noodle?
THE AQUA THING I CUT UP THAT IS ON THE CHAIRS TO KEEP OUR ARMS FROM BURNING ON THE METAL ARMS!

OH, yes I put it there when I was mulching the leaves with the lawn mower and
found it on the ground. the wind must have blown it there.

  1. Funny. But it IS pretty. The rare noodle flower. Never needs watering.

  4. Now I'm wondering what a tree full of pool noodles would look like. Maybe one with all the same color noodle and another with multi colored noodles.

  5. Hello,

It didn't look like it could just appear in the bush. It is a good idea to put them on the arms of the chairs. Ann's idea above sounds cute. Take care, have a wonderful weekend.

  6. Regarding my cat post, how right you are and understanding of our predicament. If only I could kneel down that would be lovely but I can't and if I could I would never get up again, LOL
I have found a solution, putting it all on 2 or 3 of her favorite biscuits but I have to wait until she is really hungry.

  9. That's a really clever idea!
With your recent chilly weather, maybe Bob thought the tender branch needed a little insulation?
Nevertheless, it makes for a pretty photo!

  13. Hi Sandra, What a great idea to cover the chair arms. It's a fun picture on the branch, and it made me laugh.

  15. Aaaahhh pool noodles. It looks like pretty coloured pipe lagging but we guess you don't need to lag pipework in Florida. Pipe lagging is all grey here, but useful for insulating chair arms too (although more limely to be for protecting us from frost burns!🙀😸❄

  18. Well, you made me giggle again.
That last picture kind of looks like a Praying Mantis in cartoon form.
At least Bob didn't throw it away.
Love the Blog Fodder for the weekend.

  21. What a clever thing to keep your arms from burning. How strange that it's so hot where you are that those things are needed and we are getting a snowstorm this week. I, of course, am looking forward to some snow. I'm sorry you are hurting and hope that the rest will help you get better. Sending love...
