While we walked Beau at Bray Park on Sunday May 7th, the Osprey nest is still occupied, we saw Mama and babies, could not get the cell phone to focus that high up.
I found these photos in my archives. The park was full of huge black crows, and we saw a few ducks.

Awesome photos. I've never seen a duck like the one with the red bill.
ReplyDeleteThat is one impressive looking nest.
The "duck" with the red bill is a Common Gallinule (Gallinula galeata), sometimes referred to as a Moorhen. Great to see the Ospreys doing well.
ReplyDeleteThe END....lolol
ReplyDeleteSandra nice old shots - the colors on the ducks were amazing. You have a lot of nice nature around you!

ReplyDeleteWe have babies in all our bird houses here at Irving. I can never get good pics so I quit trying. It's still exciting to hear the babies crying for food and watch the parents feeding them!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting it must have been to see the Osprey babies!!
ReplyDeleteAwesome birdy dumpster dive!
I have a photo like your last one from my dad's pond. It's two butts right next to each other. Hope those babies remain safe
