Did you know you can use Ctrl F on almost all screens to find something you are looking for. Above is my MadSnapper blog, I have a zillion labels, I hit Ctrl F and typed resurrection to find the label.
sometimes I want to know if someone commented, and I do Ctrl F and type in the name, this one I typed rose and it goes to her and keep hitting enter and you can find each time she commented.

Yikes, there we are! I knew nothing about this because I don't know keyboard commands. Phil does, because that's how he learned years ago. But I bet he doesn't know this one.

ReplyDeleteYes, the control keys have been around since the beginning of coding... but I guess these basics have been forgotten (or never taught) now that there are so many touch screens and other 'tools' provided - supposedly to 'enhance the user experience'. Gimmicks. Gimme the basics like this! YAM xx
I did not know this. Even if I had known it I probably would have forgot it. Any of the shortcut keys I tend to forget about.
