Thankful for the moonlight
I stepped out the front door to roll the trash can/rubbish bin to the curb and went back for my phone. The moon was stunning behind the dark clouds, with the oak tree surrounding it and the grass below highlighted by the streetlight.
Yes, when I saw the photo I thought, outside lighted tree /inside lighted tree and off to PicMonkey I went. I am thankful for PicMonkey and Beautiful Trees and the bright moon in the sky and streetlights.
I love that first shot - your camera does take good night shots. We have a photo competition at work this month - night photo is the subject. Most of the submissions are sunsets. Hardly a night photo! Yours on the other hand would deserve a place on a podium.
Ooooh! Stunning, yes. I love the way you framed these images with the oak tree.
At first I wondered if that wasn't something originating from the space center. When I lived in the Tampa metro it was always a thrill to see the shuttle launches.
I'm so glad you took time to see the gorgeous moon. If I could peel my eyes open I would have seen it too. Our sky is crystal clear this morning. Crisp but pretty. I said I would get the tree debris done yesterday, but it didn't happen. Instead we were gifted with a new kitchen faucet and a new dishwasher that were installed by our friends yesterday. Its amazing and truly humbling. Details in my next post... Sue
My kind of light. Love seeing the moon. It pairs well with your nook tree.
ReplyDeleteI am glad that you noticed how beautiful it was and took a picture or two to share with us.
ReplyDeleteI am not out to see the moon as often as I once was.
