Village of the Arts, YELLOW

Every home needs a fence that matches the house, right???

Yellow, but Not Mellow Yellow!

A dog named Beau lived in a bright yellow house.
Each time he went out, without a doubt, he was happy to have that house to douse!

ready for a new paint job

I call this one the OOPS! house. What think ye?

I ask Bing to draw if life gives you lemons, paint your house yellow...
OOOOOPS!

  1. Wow, the first house is a bright yellow, maybe too bright for me.
Take care, have a wonderful week!

  2. That first one is bold, in your face, yellow. I was thinking I didn't really like it but looking at it again I see the brown trim and green roof. Now I see a sunflower house. The next one does look a bit faded.
Is that the oops house because it kind of looks like they added on the last part as an afterthought. Like, OOPS, we forgot to add that bit in the front...lol
You should ask Bing to describe the color fellow.

  3. The first one really stands out. The "oops" one gives me the impression of a church with that small porch and big windows.

  4. It would be easy to give direction to where you live!

  8. I don't dislike yellow, but if I was going to do my house that color I would go with a pale yellow and nothing bring like that first one, and my fence would prob be white, not matching...lol

  9. Yellow is my favorite color, but ya. That first one is a bit much. (Sing-along Beatles' 'Yellow Submarine' anyone?)

For some crazy reason I'm attracted to the 'oops' house. Those windows look like enormous cartoon eyes! But that teeny-tiny porch would have to get a re-do.
Do you remember that street name? I'd like to Google the address (1326) and see if they don't have interior photos. Nosy, party of one!

  10. Yellow is a cheerful colour, but I wouldn't paint a house that colour.

  11. That first on is sunflower yellow...a bit bright for an entire home.. I like a creamy yellow house and the trim in a green is nice as is the roof

  13. I sure prefer the mellow yellow of the last photo. The other is much too bright for me.
But I've got to say its very Artsy and tropical. Guess I'm too Northern California..haha..

  14. That's a lot of yellow houses. Well, at least they're not purple. Ick. I guess our house is a kind of yellow since last time it was painted we went with a Peach color for the body and Hunter Green for the trim. It's nothing spectacular but it is different!
    Blessings. 💙

  16. I remember the brightly colored homes when we visited in Florida. I liked them. Florida always seems so tropical to me. Bermuda paints their houses in tropical colors too.

  17. Bing didn't do a great job on that poster! Did they add an extension to that Oops house to give them more room? It is distinctive and there might have been a reason for it,
