I use a lot of Desitin (AKA, Glue) and I use 3 to 4 gloves a day
and a box goes quickyl.used the box of 100 quicky. I had a lightbulb moment and decided to cut the gloves in half and make 2. It works.
On the other hand, he he he, I cut my own hair this past week end and sent this photo to my brothers wife and said this is my first haircut by me/myself and I, Bob can't help anymore, not even the sides and back.
Check out the free smile, but look at the Green eyes. I have anti glare and could not retake the horrid photo. Please Just.Look.At.The. Eyes.Only.
Beau said to tell you its HIS job to make you smile
That's a great idea about the gloves! And, yes, Beau always makes me smile. :)
ReplyDeleteYou have beautiful green eyes. Once quite awhile ago, I had seen a haircut you did yourself. It did not look as good as Bob does. But this one looks really good!! And what a great idea about the gloves! We wear a lot of them. Shopping cart handles are one of the most germy things there are, and flu and measles and Covid are all out there. So we wear gloves whenever we shop.
ReplyDeleteYes I did laugh when I saw Beau. You are brave cutting your own hair- I always get messed up looking in the mirror and trying to use scissors.
ReplyDeletethat is a super idea! and we love your haircut... the mama did it once with a youtube tutorial and she failed pitiful... she looked like prince valiant :o)

ReplyDeleteThe hair cut is fine, the eyes spooky... and I'm left wondering why you need gloves for glue??? Doesn't it come with its own spreader, or do you always use your fingers? Clearly it isn't superglue...... Scrub that... I just looked up the name you gave and you mean a medical cream. Now it makes a whole lotta sense!!! YAM xx
You did a good job with your haircut. The green eyes do look strange. Beau does make me smile. SO cute! Take care, have a great day!
ReplyDeleteYour hair looks fine, but your eyes a bit spooky... lol
ReplyDeleteGood idea with the gloves. Always nice to find a way to make things last longer. You did a good job on the haircut. Years ago when I had bangs I would occasionally cut my own but that was about it. Are your eyes really green or is it just the glasses that make them look like they are
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job on your haircut! Seriously! and the glove idea is super! Now the eyes? Well, they are just strange! But that's what makes your photos so much fun. Always something different or fun! I love Beau's photo probably the best of all, no offense! LOL. Have a wonderful day my friend.
ReplyDeleteGood idea to economize on the rubber gloves. It’s probably helpful in the landfill too. I must live in a strange household. We don’t use rubber gloves for anything. The only time I can ever remember us wearing rubber gloves was during the first onslaught of COVID and then only at the gas pump.
ReplyDeleteAnd I omitted to congratulate you on your spiffy haircut. Great job!
ReplyDeleteI have found that my attempts at cutting my own hair has not always turned out so well...You did good! What a neat way to conserve on using so many gloves. Just as a side note, while I was having my procedure last week, one thing that I noticed was how many times my nurse changed her gloves. I know she must have gone through 20 or more just on me. That Beau...tell him he gave me a good laugh this morning.
ReplyDeleteEconomising on the gloves is a grand idea. I never would have thought of cutting them in half - how clever.
ReplyDeleteGood idea on the gloves!
ReplyDeleteYour haircut looks really good. Mine wouldn't look anything like that!
Way to go on the gloves. Whatever works and saves money is a good thing.
ReplyDeleteBeau does make me smile. So much so I linked this post to Happy Tuesday.
Have a woof woof day, Beau. My best to your wonderful mom. ♥
Hello Sandra :)
ReplyDeleteYou did a fantastic job cutting your own hair. It looks so professional.Your photo is fine but the green eyes do look a bit strange. The gloves were a good idea, and Beau reminds me of a puppy in that position, and did make me smile.
Yes, Beau always makes me smile. That's a great idea with the gloves and you did a great job on your hair. I can't begin to imagine cutting my own hair.
ReplyDeleteYou and Beau did a great job making me smile!
ReplyDeleteYou got the hang on the haircut thing!
ReplyDeleteThanks for my smile this morning, Beau. Great job on the haircut. and your thrifty glove routine.
ReplyDeleteI do cut my own hair most of the time, until it gets too long and I can't do the back. Then its off to the hairdresser and I get a cut and perm. It really needs to be done soon but the money isn't there for it so I will just keep clipping and holding things in place with hair spray..haha
Those green eyes are pretty scary but thanks for showing them anyhoo..
Sue
Helpful hints my MadSnapper and she cuts hair too
ReplyDeleteHugs cecilia
PS just returned from getting our hair cut too
ReplyDeleteThis green reflection makes me think you're approaching the Emerald City -- right there with Dorothy and Toto!
ReplyDeleteTwo thumbs up for the selfie hair cut; I couldn't pull that off for any amount of money ... but keep a wig at the ready, just in case I lose any more.
PS - I'm going to borrow that rubber gloves tip, starting tomorrow morning.
I think you did a good job on your hair - sorry Bob can't help anymore. Beau liked your hair too. I am trying to think about all those gloves and what you use them for?? I rarely use them - I do use them when cleaning or working with chicken. Probably a good idea to wear them when I go out to the store too.
ReplyDeleteYou are always thinking outside the box! Good for you! I am thinking about getting Louis Dean to cut my hair. It's getting way tooo long and I just need to cut the length straight across. That shouldn't bee too hard? Right??
ReplyDeleteYour hair looks great and the pup looks happy. Love the glove hack. Go you!
