Selfie Sunday (Beauspeak)

Mama said she needed 2006 current photos of me. Here they are. Sorry, I am so sleepy, butt Mama's week off, made all of us sleep more, we slept all night, we took naps in the day, Mama never raised her voice, daddy did not either, we laughed and talked because Daddy's new hearing aids allows him to HEAR and played and Mama did not cry when she filed the taxes.
As you can see, I am calm as calm can be, the doctor has adjusted my meds, started a new one, with others and so far so good..

I did manage to move to the floor

and lick my paw. Daddy watched football, both pawretnz watched DVR Skating for USA finals, and rooted for the USA skate team at the Olympics.
Mama finished her TO DO list, but says if she goes missing, the yard is in bad need of some TLC.

One last thing, she said she is not happy with the change in her when she looks in the mirror and in a prior Post said she has  not taken current photos in almost 2 years, the last year made her Show Her Age. Proof below.

Mama walk-in  me, Feb 2022 and Mama walk-in me Feb 2026
Same jacket, same time of day, same street, same cell phone

She took another one in the kitchen, its even worse. Please feel free to count the wrinkles, and her hair is like a million hairs thinner than 2005, not shown here.
We both say Thanks for being our friends.

  3. You are still losing weight m'dear. Being a full time carer will do that to you - tough that such load often arrives at this part of lufe when folk are less strong and resilience is harder to maintain. You are still looking fabulous and Id like to hope I have the life zest you have when I reach 8 decades.

Beau, I second TM's comment to your dear mama - and stress is one of the big reasons I now have next to no hair. Meanwhile, it's good to read that you are feeling more comfy and that things in the home have quietened down. I'm sure daddy must be a bit amazed at being able to hear so much too! Have a super week. Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  5. You don't look all that different between the first two photos. In the third the light is different and not in your favour but you've still got your lovely smile. Which is more important than counting wrinkles!

  6. I love seeing your sweet face Beau. I'm glad that things have been going better.
I feel the same way about pictures of me. I notice so many more lines and wrinkles and I hate it.

  7. Beau - you are always a good looking guy. Mama is beautiful as always, but I know what she means about thinning hair. Good grief!
I'm happy to get such a good report on all of you.

  8. Selfie Sunday is fun and especially when you post them of you and Beau. Winkles and thinning hair is not even noticed...it's your beauty inside and out, Sandra that makes these so special.

  9. Hello Sandra and Beau

Beau you are so cute in the photos and your mama is beautiful too.
I have more wrinkles and very thin hair, I try not to dwell on my looks.
I am glad you are all doing well, take care! Have a great day and happy week ahead.

  16. Beau! Happy belated Valentines (to You and Your Mom). Our Mom was be moaning her wrinkles this morning too! She says that she looks like she aged a million years since she had the fall! The only good thing is that her double chin is now a turkey neck and she does not jiggle as much as she used to! I, Marv, think that you look Marvelous Darling! And our Mom wishes she had her taxes done! Keep being AWESOME!

  17. My beautiful friend! You look wonderful in orange. I'm so glad the new meds (and prayers) are making all 3 of you feel better. Sending my love!

  18. Beau - please tell your mom to be gentle with herself. Yes, she is two years older, but these last 2 years have been super hard. The fact she can still smile, is amazing. We think of you all often and send our best wishes. Tigris, Styx and Lanie too

  20. The change in your face, Sandra, is because of your weight loss. (We know it couldn't be because you're just 4 years older, right? 😁) So glad Beau's doing good, Bob's able to hear, and you're actually able to interact in a pleasant way!

  21. You tell your Mama that I told you to tell her that she's the prettiest Mama in all the Mama's and that I'm super duper proud of her AND that she's Wonder Woman.
