Happy 59th Birthday, Daniel. Love Mom and Michelle
Dan and Michelle are Cat and Dog lovers, above is a screen shot of feral just born and grown up. They have 3 cats and a Mastiff inside and 6 feral, that don't know they are feral, except they don't like going inside.
This is Bandit, small female, and is full grown.
she was feral, now is indoor only, and they found a home for the kitten, and it has been raised indoors.

At Beaus early AM animal emergency hospital visit, I was left alone while they doctored him. I was ecstatic to see they have a Cat Lobby, No dogs allowed. I have never seen this before.
The lobby was not their the last time we went over a year ago. they did a remodel in that year, I probably paid for the cat room. ha ha

That header blows me away! How did you do it? Happy Birthday to Dan.

ReplyDeleteThe cat waiting room is awesome! I have never heard of one and it is such a good idea. Happy Birthday to your gorgeous son!

ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, Dan, from your mum's dedicated follower!
Sandra, that's a wonderful sketch rendition and I love the cat connection at the vet. What a great idea, good for them! YAM xx
Neat sketch! I never heard of a room just for cats! How wonderful that is!

Happy birthday to Dan. I have just returned from The Bahamas so should be back in the groove now.
ReplyDeleteI like the picture of you, Dan and Michelle. Bandit is a real cutie. The vets office I go to has seperate appointment hours for cats or at least they used to. I don't know if they still do that or not.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to Dan! Great sketch of you and Dan.
ReplyDeleteIt is good that the vet has a separate room for the Cats.
Happy Sunday, enjoy your day and the new week ahead.
Happy Birthday to Dan! I love that sketch.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to Dan from all of us! I'll bet you did pay for that nice cat area. Big hugs from all of us!
ReplyDeleteHappy Happy 59th to Dan...the best dog and cat man
ReplyDeleteHugs cecilia
Happy Birthday to your boy, Dan. A cat waiting area is a great idea for any vet.
ReplyDeleteMy understanding of the quote on YAMs blog
ReplyDeleteI love 'one in the many'
Modern day: searching for your one true love"!
Hugs cecilia
It is lovely when families are both cat and dog. Cat only areas are such a boon. So much less stress. You will have paid for some of it as you say. Maybe you need to get your fair use and take a cat in also?
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely, happy and healthy week!

Great job on making your header...it is so cool... Happy Birthday to Dan...hope his special day is a good one. Vet offices are getting vamped up around here too. The one our daughter uses looks like a very nice mini hospital.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to Dan and that sketch is awesome.
ReplyDeleteA cat waiting room.... that's a new one for me.
Have a good Sunday.

Happy 59th Birthday to Daniel. I just love that drawing. Those are so awesome. I can't believe all the cats they take care of. That is so sweet of them. That is interesting about the cat lobby at the vet. Hope you are having a nice Sunday.
ReplyDeleteBandit is simply irresistible. (Dan's pretty good looking too - good genes from his Mum). Happy birthday to the Bandit dad.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful image of you with Dan and Michelle. Happy Birthday Dan! Love all the pictures of the kitties. They've got good hearts to take care of so many, like you Sandra. It's impressive that they thought to have a cats only waiting room. Yes, I'm sure your visits paid for a lot of that :) I hope Beau is doing okay now.
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to Dan.
ReplyDeleteA separate area for cats is such a good idea at the vet.
Yes, at our vet's satellite/sister facility they have a separate entrance for cats' pawrents. Cool idea!
ReplyDeleteWhat's even cooler is that sketch! I so love the expression on your face.
Wishing Dan a very happy young 59th birthday.
ReplyDeleteI love the sketch too, and also the added details on the left side of the pencil shavings and such. Quite impressive! I think we all know where Dan gets his love of animals.
I love your header and that quote. So true.
ReplyDeleteI also love the drawing of Dan - happy birthday.
Love the cats even though I am not a cat lover.
Was Beau sick again? I am so sorry.
Wow, that sketch of Dan and Michelle and you is really a keeper! That is so cool!!! I love that! And all the kitties too. And a cat waiting room? How nice is that? I know Blackie would appreciate it. He disappears for hours when any dogs come into our yard. I enjoyed this post. You are very talented my dear!! And thank you for the kind words on my posts. I'm glad you knew that hymn "Out of my bondage, sorrow, and night......Jesus, I come to Thee" Yes, it's a good old Baptist hymn. I miss thos good altar call style hymns. We just don't do them anymore and I really miss that. (and yes, Just as I am was also one of our favorites). Blackie sends his love to Beau...
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful sketch! The pictures of their bottle baby all grown up are fabulous.
ReplyDeleteYou’ve reminded me of a line I once read in a book. The woman had 10 children and she remarked, “I’ve bought two luxury cars in the last several years, a Lincoln for the pediatrician and a Cadillac for the dentist.
Happiest of birthday wishes for your dear son! I love that sketch of you with Dan and his wife.
ReplyDeleteSome of the vet offices around here have cat only areas...not mine, his office is very small and simple...but we LOVE him!
What we do not have here is a cat only vet office, and we know there are some around.
I hope Beau is feeling better now...what are you helping to finance now?? LOL!
Hubby tells me I am the only one in our family to finance the renovations at our dentist's office...
Happy Belated Birthday Dan!!
