THIS YEAR SO FAR
2026
Can you tell she was listening to the clicking sound of my camera? I did not shhhhhh shhhh her away, she flew off right after this photos.
They are living in the front yard, took these photos on 4/5/2026 Easter Sunday sunrise, and spent a little time talking with them. The Daddy with the beautiful head vamoosed, the Mama and the juvenile stayed.

Sunday April 19th they went for a swim. Its getting harder to shoo them out, for me to do it and then to leave.

I hope some day to be back to visiting your blogs, not yet!
So Sorry, these post this week have been in drafts for weeks and I need them on my blog journal of  our lives

  4. I have no doubt that they add joy to your life and poop in the pool in equal measure!

  6. So your yard has become the social gathering spot for the ducks in the area. They sure do make themselves at home. Looks like they really enjoy the pool.

  7. Hi Sandra :)
David's comment has left me wondering if I would shoo them away from our pool, but no, only if the pool has just been cleaned. Nice captures Sandra..
Warm hugs to all three of you.

  11. That is so cool ... having the ducks visit, I mean. Even that one of Beau looking down at them put a big smile on my face.
I'm thinking they feel the good "welcome" vibes surrounding your property.

  12. Your ducks are cute, but I wouldn't like the mess they might leave behind.

  14. Your photos of them in your pool is great. I'd have a hard time shooing them away, too. I'd enjoy watching them but then again they do make a mess in swimming pools.

  15. Those duckies are lucky to have you share your pool
All we have are rude and loud crows. Flapping around
jumping on the bird feeders and in the bird bath

  18. Oh, I love these photos! These are such beautiful ducks! Does it not bother them to swim in a chlorinated pool? I wonder if it hurts their eyes or if they drink it...just wondering. I have missed our water birds/geese/ducks this year since our pond is dry. I do hope they will come back when the water returns. I'm happy you have this beautiful distraction to entertain you!!

  19. Oh my, I'm so sorry about that. They must leave a mess in the pool and yard. Anything you can do to keep them away?

  25. I love to see the ducks and you even have them this year?

  26. Does Beau ever go after them? It seems like they're becoming domesticated around you, Sandra. I think you've got a bunch of new feathery friends! Now all you need to do is throw a bunch of little fish in the pool, LOL!

  27. One of my friends had a duck in his pool one year, so he fed it and before he knew it he had like 20 ducks in his pool! Tigris, Styx and Lanie too
