Though juveniles of any bird species can be tricky to ID sometimes. So nice of it to sit for a photo session. There are just so many and when you look at the books on them...well, I get even more confused. I am going to say a juvenile Red Shouldered Hawk because he has the speckled chest and the barred tail of a juvenile. His bone structure is also finer than the Red Tail Hawk. The real clue is the "screaming" he is doing. Does it sound like the recording you included, because if it does it is a Red Tail. I can tell you that the Red Shoulder sounds totally different with a series of high screechy cries. Bryan's train room is on one side of her safe house and the guest bedroom is up here too. If they would do the 3 windows up here first maybe she and I could hold up in the office. We'll see. If she is spooked I don't want her darting off.
