Backyard Blooms NOW

These photos taken in my yard over the past 4 days....
Above and below are from our Dwarf Poinciana, this little tree lives in a bucket, we have no room to plant it and yes, it was grown from a seed. Above taken at 6:42 am and same day at 9 am

On Fridays post everyone thought the flower was a bottle brush, it is not. below is the Dwarf Powder Puff bush, and the Friday shot is a close up.
This tree is our dwarf powder puff and it has about a gazillion blooms on it this week. this guy blooms year round and can be viewed from kitchen and bedroom window

  2. Once again they are beautiful - I think pink and red are my favorite colors for flowers anyway.

And it grows in a bucket - cute.

  3. I never knew there was a dwarf Poinciana. It is very pretty. The Powder Puff is a prolific flowerer and I think it is a native of South Africa.

  7. Wow---just gorgeous... Don't have room to plant anymore??? I do have a question though: How do you keep the tree junk from filling up your pool???? That would drive me crazy.

Do you have neighbors all around you? Do you even know your neighbors? Are all of the yards down there like yours???? Sorry for all of the questions. Your yard just sounds so intriguing to me. I would love the privacy..
    Hugs,
    Betsy

  18. Sandra, if this poiciana tree is a dwarf is there a full-size version? It's a lovely flower and must be wonderful to see out your bedroom and kitchen windows.
