Canine Christmas-2011

Saturday my friend Rich and I went to the Annual Canine Christmas festival sponsored by the Animal Network to raise funds for our local animal needs.
As I strolled and Rich rolled, we were met with signs everywhere.
I took this so my blogger CAT friends would not panic thinking Dogs Only
No kitties present because of more than 1000 dogs that attended. But they do get part of the funds raised.

Can you guess who paid the DOLLAR to kiss the pup above? don't tell them but I would have paid 5.00 to kiss him.
I copied this message from the official web site of Canine Christmas,

Canine Christmas 12 was an incredible success. We had over 30 dog or potential adoptions. It was a beautiful day, and as usual it is amazing to have over 1000 dogs behaving so well. We had a record setting 50/50 raffle with the winner and the Animal Network splitting $ 3,440.00. All together we raised close to $ 10,000.00, which is also a record. I would like to thank all the participants, vendors and volunteers who contribute so much to make our event such a good and profitable time.

You can tell we were comfy temps wise, bright sunshine and lots of shade.

Plus Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer Donkey, my friend Skeeter

Dogs little and Dogs big... almost every breed was represented. I took 386 photos, look for ALL of them this week..... KIDDING! don't panic, only a few dozen will appear.
MORE PHOTOS ON THE WAY.... are you SHOCKED???

The Smooch a Pup booth is a cute idea. I'll bet they made a lot of dollars.

  9. Well you're not called the "Mad Just Looker" are you? Looks like a lot of fun, and the dogs do look so well behaved. My little "chicken little" would be barking her head off and cowering in my wife's arms.
