Canine Christmas 2011 -Boxers

Boxer Rescue told me they have 90 boxers to place in homes which makes me so sad. I have a passion for Big dogs and they are the hardest to place in homes.
Last years photos are under my labels Canine Christmas on the side bar. this sweety was waiting for a home. this year's Festival is label Canine Christmas 2011
this sweetie wanted to be adopted and  I hugged and kissed this sweet guy and told him I would take him home if I could.

can you tell I love boxer butts?

Below is a 6 month old Mastiff that will weigh about 170 when full grown

Rich and I got many pets and kisses....OOOOOOOHHHHH

  1. The second one is trying hard to be friendly and get adopted, what a sweet face. That little mastiff is so cute, if I were going to get a dog that's the size I would want. Some neighbors in another city had one and it was so sweet.

It is a shame that so many of these beautiful dogs are without homes.

  4. I hope many of them get a home. I think boxers are ugly but I guess they are loveable. The mastiff is cute but they grow huge. A friend of mine had one. It was like a little horse.

  8. I don't think I've ever mentioned about the Boxer dog I had as a kid. What a great dog he was. I ran across a photo of him recently in about 1960 or so. He was a love.

  10. What sweethearts they are!

It must be so hard, attending such events, because you want to adopt them ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL. -sigh-

"...Wonderful white Winter! We must clap our hands at you: You are old, and we are cold, and there is nothing else to do. You and I are glad, when the snow comes flying down, And ice-drops fair leap out of the air to hang on the branches brown! Wonderful white Winter!

  12. Awww...the dog we have now is a rescue. I so wish I knew his past. While he loves me and my kids (both grown) he's not always friendly with others. We had him at the vet last week and she said it could take him years to mellow with others due to his unknown past. He did growl and snap at her by the way LOL.

  13. This last picture is fabulous. Many thoughts are running through my mind as I look at it. It speaks a thousand words. You really need to print this one out, frame it, and give it to Rich. I love the white Boxer's jester's jingle collar!

  14. Okay I am bad but I can't resist - your a butt liking girl - haha. Just kidding. They were all sweet looking - and there are so many of them that would love to be adopted - our adopted dog is so grateful that he was adopted - he is so sweet and loving.

    Love, sandie

  16. Well, I love dogs in all sizes. It is sad the bigger ones are harder to place but I feel very bad when a BIG dog doesn't have enough room to run and play.

Apparently the most popular dog right now is the Labrador retriever so a lot of people must have big dogs.
