We just bought a big bad of those at Sam's...it's what we've always given our dogs as treats. However, after I heard this news a day or two ago, I did a little research, and this is the third time since 2007 that the FDA has put a warning on on the Waggin Train brand. I think they are all packaged in China.
ReplyDeleteNeedless to say, the $14 bag is going back to Sam's!
I will be reading this article! Thanks for keeping tabs on this Sandra. I'm starting to wonder if we will have to start making their food. I just read an article the other day about arsenic in chicken. I'm not sure if I'll be eating meat much longer.
ReplyDeleteBeth doesn't buy those for me....thank goodness! That is awful!
ReplyDeleteWonderful to see...
ReplyDeleteThanks for the warning Sandra, definitely won't be buying these treats for Muffy.
ReplyDeleteGood grief!! Thanks for the head's up!
ReplyDeleteThanks for keeping my mistress updated on how to take care of me!

Duke doesn't eat that kind, he's more of a beefy flavor dog than chicken but it's good info to know. Is it just the chicken flavor that is causing a problem?
ReplyDeletethanks for letting us know...
