Yada Yada Blah Blah Blah

December in Florida
Random thoughts when I took the above photo.  NOTE update: many comments on the lemon tree. The tree above is a Golden Poinciana Tree, flowers not lemons.

Does she wear and  itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow poke a dot bikini....(five minutes to the beach)
Did she  park the car under the tree because it matched the tree?
Does she work in K-Mart or Publix and bought the car to match the tree?
Do you agree the car belongs to a SHE?  I mean do you know any men that drive an Easter egg yellow car?

The only snow we had on Christmas Eve.... but our snowflakes are REALLY BIG....

Random thoughts while snapping... will anyone notice I got up from lunch to walk to the window and snap a snowflake? a plastic one?

Will anyone care that our  Christmas cactus on the front porch bloomed the week before Christmas?

  3. LOL! You and I are in the same random thoughts mode. Is it the January 'blahs'? Perhaps it is. I don't know. Do you get "January blahs" when you live some place sunny and warm??? Hmmm.....

  4. Yep, she must've bought the car to match the fruit in the tree. lol I'll not venture to guess on the itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini, though.

    Please feel better soon.

  6. Yep, I know a guy who has one of those bright yellow ones. In fact, he bought it just so he would never be able to lose it again in a Walmart parking lot.

  8. The blooms are beautiful and as long as they put a smile on your face it doesn't matter when it blooms. :) I don't care for yellow cars, but I do know some guys do. LOL They think it's a sports car color and they like the bright color for attention. LOL!!!

  10. WE CARE AND WE ARE IMPRESSED.
You know we love your creativity!!!
The yellow car has to belong to a she for sure. Mom's mind wandered a tad too. We hope the driver has some really good Foster-Grants 'cause we expect the FL sun reflecting off that yellow is blinding!!
    MOL
    Hugs madi and Mom
    PS.
Isn't it amazing how the Christmas Cactus knows when Christmas is coming?

  14. Ah, look at the tree...the green grass. Oh to see green grass again. It's so cold here today. I'd take a few of those lemons to make some lemonade with! They can keep the yellow car. Oh, I take that back. I'd take the car and paint it red!

  15. I love the cactus. Who needs snow with that kind of white beauty?

And I'd guess a SHE as owner of that car as well. But who knows.

  16. Hooray, you're back. Personally I have never liked that color for a car but it sure is sunny looking and it does match that tree.

I'll trade you my snowflakes for yours....lol

  17. Hope you are feeling better and hope your back is better...

Love that white Christmas Cactus... I don't see white mones very often...

I'll agree that yellow cars are for WOMEN.... I had a yellow car years ago --but it was a pale yellow and wouldn't have matched that poinciana tree (which does look like a lemon tree).

    Hugs,
    Betsy

  19. I love yellow, but I do not want a yellow car....but I am with you...think it is a female.

  20. Nice car but I would take it in red. Could be owned by a woman but I do know a guy who drives a vintage yellow Mustang.

The cactus is gorgeous! Better that it bloomed a little early, it gave you more time to enjoy the beauty.

  21. Welcome back. And I sure thought those were lemons. Nice find.

  22. Now that is a bright yellow car and it matches the flowers on the tree.

  23. Woof! Woof! Love the Christmas cactus flowers. Yellow reminds me of my favorite treat, banana. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar

  28. Colours do make a difference when it comes to making a statement - 'look at me'. I do love the colour of your Christmas cactus. Ours is a bright pinky-red - I think you call it 'cerise' but white is so much more appealing to me.

  29. I'm glad to see you back. Your thoughts are as wonderful as your photos.

  30. Only if the yellow car was a Ferrari would a man own it.

  31. I think the car is driven by a girl. And I think she wears an itsy bitsy teeny weenie yellow polka dot bikini for sure! And they look like a lemon tree to me too. Beautiful picture. You're going to make everybody jealous who lives up north!

  32. I love the lemon tree! I don't think I ever saw one before. Crazy isn't it?

    ReplyDelete
  33. And, hopefully that doesn't mean the car is a lemon!

  35. My mother's Christmas cactus may not make it. I love them but most of my houseplants have not survived the neglect that has been their fate since my stroke.

Ilove Christmas cactus of all colors. But the white are ethereal looking.
