My Easter Weekend

Previously on MadSnapper you read about my quest for a comfy chair.
Hubby loves the new chair. For me it still hurts.

My mother, her sister and now myself, suffer from Apple on toothpick body style. We also have no bottom to speak of, and a tail bone that is extended to far... when sitting on hard surfaces aforesaid tail bone HURTS. Due to lower spine and left hip Arthritis, I have 3 pressure points that hurt when sitting.

Enter The Dunce..see above lower right corner... I purchased for 10 dollars a FIVE ZONE mattress pad guaranteed to help with pressure points.

Hubby cut the pad in 3 pieces.... Above dunce CHEWED the middle out of one while we were trying out the other one on above chair.

(Dunce better known as Baby Girl, said it was Daddy's fault because he laid it on the sofa, which is her kingdom and she thought it was hers)

To protect Said Five Zone Pad from above Dunce, I was forced to drop it inside a mu-mu that is never worn.... (ugly as it is, it works great on sofa, rocker and desk chairs.)

Is MadSnapper creative or what?  Aren't you glad I don't wear this pad cover?

Do you think Baby or Bob is guilty?

  2. I think you're very clever, and Bob and Baby may have to share responsibility... ;) Myself I find I have to uglify my Rolls Royce chair with extra homemade armrest-padding...

  5. Bob is the guilty one, of course. Pets do no wrong.

  6. I hope the pad makes the difference for you. All I know is that it wasn't YOUR fault...and that's all that matters!! :-)

  10. I'm afraid Bob and Baby Girl are equally guilty. But you are definitely a winner for your creativity. I hope the pad helps you.

  11. WAIT!!!! Baby is a genius!!! I was going to tell you to get one of those donut cushions to take the pressure off your tailbone, and Baby made one for you!!!! The mu mu is for sure better left unworn, but it really pretties up the chair. But seriously, have you ever tried a donut, they are for people with exactly your problem. You can even get ones to blow up so you can control how soft they are. I can find you one and mail it if you want.

  15. Oh NO...I'm staying out of this one. I like Bob and I do not want him mad at me!!!!!!!But..seriously...I hope that foam is thick enough and that it helps you. Wouldn't that be wonderful? Seems like it would take the pressure off.

  17. Sorry Bob but Baby Girl can't be guilty here.
I have to say that a chair pad cover is a better use for that mu mu...lol

  18. Looking at that sad Baby face, I have to say that all the guilt is squarely on Bob!! He should have to wear the mu mu!!

  19. Bob is the guilty one! Baby even looks pretty with the dunce hat! :)
The pad was put on her bed, so she had every right to it. :)

  20. Bob's fault! Hope the cushion helps. Nice idea to use the mu-mu for covering.

  21. Guess Poor Bob is guilty since he left it on Baby Girl's special place... She did think it was HERS.... Can't blame her for that one.

Anyhow you now have a 'colorful' pad on your chair.. Hope it works for you.

    Hugs,
    Betsy

Who brought it into the house. LOL

  23. You are a genius, that looks like it would be so comfy.

I think Baby look innocence even in the dunce cap so it can't possibly be her fault.

Around our house the rule is every thing is a potential cat toy if it is in reach of little paws. If we don't put it away then it must be our fault. Sorry Bob.

  26. I read this last night, and was going to comment and never did. I was having a hard time deciding who was guilty. Probably Bob....since we all know Baby owns the sofa.
