The view from the hut |
Advice from the ocean.
Be Shore of yourself
come out of your shell
take time to coast
avoid pier pressure
sea life's beauty
don't get tide down.

I like to imagine an adult showing children how they used to build huts when they were children...and in that moment they were all equally children again.
ReplyDeleteThat is really neat, Sandra... I would imagine it would be kind of spooky-looking at night!
ReplyDeleteAnd those were very wise words from the ocean....
Darn,you found my hideout. LOL
ReplyDeleteYour beachfront property? Love it--and the laughs.
ReplyDeleteBest,
Bonnie

ReplyDeletelaughing over snapperII comment.
What a cool place to hang out....love the white sand
ReplyDeleteNow that is a great hut! You can see why I save sticks. They are very useful and provide shelter.

Oh fun, perhaps modern day pirates, who's ship had sunk at sea!! Love to pretend!!
ReplyDeleteThat's really cool. And fun!

I could live a while in that. :)
ReplyDeleteYou can sure find interesting things to take pictures of. Nice pictures sweet Sandra. Hugs
ReplyDeleteOh...I love that place!!!!Can you imagine being a kid and playing with that hut? I would even want to as an adult!!!! You know I love it when you go to Beer Can Island!
ReplyDeleteGood advice from the ocean.
Susannah
gonna have to share this with my pal from the jersey shore - just in case she doesn't follow you. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty neat hut you found. I also like the ocean's advice. Thanks for a great post.
ReplyDeleteI'd have loved that hut when I was younger. Cool find! Good advice from the ocean, too.
ReplyDeleteDid you JUST take this??? I know this is a STUPID question, but is this thing just blown beach stuff, or did someone make it, maybe some boys? Or maybe a bit of both. The more I go back and LOOK, the more I think someone had to make it, some of the branches look heavy and well placed.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I think some girls should go in there and decorate it with shells and seaweed.
ReplyDeleteAH----neat hut.... It seems to be fairly well-built, with a roof (sorta) and a window or several!!!!! ha.... Did you all have a picnic inside????
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Betsy
I don't think anyone tires of fort building--even adults.
ReplyDeleteNeat house! That is living simple!
ReplyDeleteLoved the "poetic" advice on the seas-ons of life!
ReplyDeleteThe hut looked like it would be spookily thrilling for children's beach adventures.
No Gilligan????
ReplyDeleteHow cool! I wonder if someone slept there overnight?? Great photos! It is so beautiful there!
ReplyDeleteBeer Can Island sound like the place for me!
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite posts. What a great place for the imagination to play.
ReplyDeleteI love these images! They are so awesome in their richness and texture! We'll have to go check out the place sometime.
ReplyDeleteLove the Ocean advice...right on!
ReplyDeleteThe hut looks cozy and a perfect place to get in out of the wind.
It seems like it took a lot of patience to build.
In response to your comments a few posts back.
I will have to look into some pools around here.Don't know if there are any and what the cost would be.
I sure would like some relief.
Just read LC's comment and I love her seas-ons of life. Clever.
ReplyDeleteLooks like something that Les whats his name would try and survive 7 days in..Or maybe just some kids playing on the beach! :)
ReplyDeletewell isn't that a neat little hut. Maybe left over from shipwrecked castaways?
ReplyDeleteLove the advice from the ocean.
A beach bum castle.... I could nap there...warm sand...sound of the surf....blue sky and at night twinkling stars as a night light. Good find....:)
ReplyDeleteReminds me of the movie "Castaway"...did you see any Tom Hanks look a likes? Love the last shot - looking out! Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteAwesome pictures. I just love dried dead tree stumps. I have a large collection of photos of them.
ReplyDeleteThat is one really nut beach hut. Someone spent a lot of time making it just right. Give me a sleeping bag and I would give it a try.
ReplyDeleteMother Ocean is so wise. That is some good advice.
That is so cool. The old weathered wood has a beauty all its own.
ReplyDeleteThose tree trunks on the beach really bear witness to the forces of nature that brought them there...
ReplyDeleteThat is one cute little beach house - hut! Gilligan's Island? sandie
