In March of 2008, the facility where I volunteered , honored the Mayor and Me by putting us in the Hall of Fame Cafe... we were honored for community service.
As a volunteer, I was official photographer and creator of printed posters... above and below are 2 posters.

Above and below is Marissa the activities director and below her assistant, Jamie, who is now the director. The sweet pup above belongs to Marissa.
In 2008 they gave me a surprise birthday bash, the man on my left is the chef there.

You look so pretty in that photo with the mayor! I'm glad you were recognized for your kindness. What a wonderful place to donate your time! I hear that there are a lot of elderly people that never see their own family...you were their family. :)
