Leonard Lizard does not seem happy with you. But we are cuz we got to see a flower I don't think we ever had before. It is beautiful. So to Leonard I say ptffffff! Blessings, Goose
That's RIGHT, you are trespassing on HIS home turf! He will only tolerate you at best. I always love seeing the cute lizards. I have seen one one time at a friends cabin, they DART very fast, like a silverfish. I guess that is their defense to keep from being eaten. The Passion plant was well hidden. They always amaze me. They look like something very complex that was designed by a drafter or am artist. But they were designed by the MASTER artist.
One of the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen. It's also our State's wildflower, and grows a'plenty along the hedgerows. Mr. Lizard has got his eye on you :) ~Jo
So he wouldn't smile for the camera. That's reptiles for you. The passion flower is so intricate and showy even though she looks like she is having a bad hair day.
I love the exotic-looking blossom. I wish this plant was hardy enough to grow outdoors here. I grow mine in a pot in my sun room but so far this year it has leaves only.
I had never seen a passion plant flower until last year when we were in New Caledonia. They are so beautiful and intricate and you've captured them well. P.S. Not crazy about your photo companion!
oh, i love him! :)
