Butterfly Bait

Butterfly Bait better known as Dwarf Poinciana

We have clouds of these guys right now, on all the flowers and they are laying eggs on the Passion Flower.

  18. These are stupendous and I am stupefied! You got so many just perfect macros! Now to see the baby eggs which will be caterpillars. You will have the whole life cycle in your yard...oh, I see Anni is commenting.

    I love the new header! I always feel as if I am leafing through one of those fancy coffee table books of nature pics when I visit you. I would expect to see these in the National Geographic! Is that around anymore? I used them a lot back in my homeschooling days!
