Stallion |
In 2008, my friend Diane and I were headed for Rye Wilderness Park and spied two horses out in a pasture. We climbed down through a ditch to get to the fence, for better photos. They both came running to the fence and you know the rest of the story.....
I AM the MADSnapper and I love all animals......if it has four legs I LOVE IT...

is that a SMIRK? don't ask me how I know which was a stallion and which was a mare.... yes, that is a smirk..
the more people I meet, the more I love animals.....
Kisses anyone???
Check out the chinny chin hairs on the chin..... and let me challenge all of you snappers out there to look through your archives. I did not even remember I took these until I found them.
I LOVE COWBOYS... I found a favorite on THE DUSTY CELLAR. cowboy, not horse, favorite I mean. LOL
Lovely pictures, I love horses too. In India the only horses one sees are race horses and those found in hill stations to provide joy rides to tourists.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful horses photos!

LOVE LOVE that first photo especially! And what a sweet horse mug. That soft muzzle (or nose or whatever it's called on a horse). What amazing creatures!
ReplyDeleteI grew up on a horse and love them. I have since shared that love with my children and love to watch their riding skills develop. They each have a horse and now ride all over. I tend to take a ton of pictures when they ride.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful animals indeed, chin hairs and all! *giggle*
ReplyDeleteShow horses are shaved and trimmed. It was a big production to get my minis ready to show. Wash, brush, trim, shave...too much work.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful horses.
i love sweet muzzly nuzzly horses. :)
ReplyDeleteI love how soft their noses are and how they smell and just everything about them. Just finished reading Secretariat. The more I read about him, the more I love him.
ReplyDeleteEvery time I go looking for a specific photo, I always find stuff I had forgot.
That little girl riding the horse is so cute! Gosh, neither you nor the horses had ever seen each other, and they ran right up to you. I think animals must love you back just as much as you love them!!
ReplyDeleteI don't have to ask you how you know which is a mare and which is a stallion, I already know how you figured it out....lol
ReplyDeleteNothing more wonderful than a horses whiskery nose Ps. I love cowboys too.
