I spent Thanksgiving week designing a header for the month of December. In the past I have always used a Christmas photo, but since my addiction to play in programs was calling to me, I will share the recipe for my December header.
I found an angel in Word Clip-art.
and Mary and the Baby Jesus in an online Coloring book and removed all but the outlines in Photo Shop Elements with the magic wand.
In PiZap I downloaded the background above (there are about 100 backgrounds to choose from)
Also in PiZap I found a G-clef note, the music lines, and a squiggly tree and added them and downloaded. There are Single Christmas balls in all colors, I chose these and added them to a black background and downloaded.

Your header is very attrative and I especially like it because it's so different from what I normally see, such as the use of purple instead of red and green.

Never in a million years could I do this! You use lots of sources and then blend them together so beautifully!!! ALL just gorgeous, all your hard work is stunning and appreciated! My favorite is the angel, I think Gabriel!!
