Hello December.....part 1

I spent Thanksgiving week designing a header for the month of December. In the past I have always used a Christmas photo, but since my addiction to play in programs was calling to me, I will share the recipe for my December header.

I found an angel in Word Clip-art.

and Mary and the Baby Jesus in an online Coloring book and removed all but the outlines in Photo Shop Elements with the magic wand.

In PiZap I downloaded the background above (there are about 100 backgrounds to choose from)

Also in PiZap I found a G-clef note, the music lines, and a squiggly tree and added them and downloaded. There are Single Christmas balls in all colors, I chose these and added them to a black background and downloaded.

these were my ingredients and a black background created in PS... and a couple of hours of baking playing  in Photo Shop  and there it is at the top.

  2. That really took some composting. But I think it turned out great. Especially with the purple design changes you made.

  6. Your header is very attrative and I especially like it because it's so different from what I normally see, such as the use of purple instead of red and green.
