I can't sit for more than half and hour without moving due to Arthritis pain, so while chatting on the phone with my sister-in-law, I stood up to pace. I grabbed this duster and started to run it back and forth on the oil lamp, just back and forth and back and forth.
I broke in on Janice's sentence with a "wow".
she said " what?"
I said "this duster is making the glass and the metal on these lamps glitter."
"You're dusting?"
"Um, yeah, I was just doing it while I pace....a new trick for an old duster...no soap and water and drying....
Just so you know it doesn't work on canine friends.
Because of my addictions to all things computer.... I use this for what I call quick cleaning.. it takes the dust off the computer monitor, the TV screens, the glass tables, just swipe a few times and all done..
I don't like to buy anything disposable, we are filling our earth with trash, so I try to use things that can be washed and reused.

Just remember, it's not healthy to be too clean!!
ReplyDeleteBest,

I love that duster. It might even put a smile on my face and take the sting out of housework ;). Cute pup you have there :).
ReplyDeleteHelps that is so colorful , not only does it attract dust it is attracting me to buy one lol
ReplyDeleteWell at least you tried with the dog. The Popsicle post was fun!
ReplyDeletei have some washable dust wipes that get the dust (when i get off my butt and use them.)
ReplyDeleteOh Sandra, your post has made me look up to see if cobwebs are lurking in the corners of the ceiling. I could do with that colourful duster on a long holder!
ReplyDeleteWoohoo Mom has one of those too hers is all lavender and let me just say they are not good for dusting felines either.
ReplyDeleteMom also has another with an extension that reaches up in the ceiling corners of the downstairs..because the old gray mare is not allowed on ladders. MOL
Hugs Madi
I have a similar duster I use to knock cobwebs off the ceilings and above windows, etc, but it's not as pretty as yours!
ReplyDeleteI have arthritis pain, too, and my right hand is so stiff right now that it's hard to type. I wish they would find something to help us kick it to the curb!! I have read where eliminating certain foods helped, but I haven't had the will power to do that yet.
What kind of duster is this? I think I need one.
ReplyDeleteRick, your latest follower.
Ok,so I need to get more people to phone me and then use that time for dusting.Perhaps then my house would be cleaned more often. Nah,who am I kidding,I like to sit and chat on the phone the dust will wait for another day.
ReplyDeleteThat's a bright handy dandy duster!!!! Walmart? I might like one of them. I really enjoyed going over to the ranch!
ReplyDeleteYou find out the darndest things! Wish I could have seen it. I use Swiffers, so it probably doesn't do it with them.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you. Recycling and reperposing is the way to go. Loved the "popcicle"link too.
ReplyDeleteSO where did you get the wonder duster?
ReplyDeletea very colorful duster. I have no clue how to use one of those though....lol
ReplyDeleteI had one of those at one time!
ReplyDeleteLove the pic of Baby.
Have a good night.
I have washable dusting cloths and a solid green duster that is very similar to yours. I feel the same way about this earth. :)
ReplyDeleteThese dusters are just great, they sort of 'suck' up the dust and makes things shiny. Great idea to dust away while talking on the phone, you were kind of multi tasking hehe
ReplyDeleteHave a great Friday!!
that is one cool duster....for one cool snapper....
ReplyDeleteI pace around too when I'm on my cell phone...
Well, if I had your duster I'd feel encouraged to dust more often than I do. ;)
ReplyDeleteI used to have one of those...don't remember what happened to it. It was handy.
ReplyDeleteI have a cloth glove I use for the computers...
Aw, that poor little snowman got no respect.
ReplyDeleteI really like that duster. I get lots of cleaning and dusting done while on the phone too. I don't like to sit still and do nothing but talk.
Those dusters are good for quick dusting! Sorry about the pain if you sit too long :(
