City Walkabout - Banyan Tree

Banyan Trees also known as Strangler figs, are a common sight here in our town.. These are 2 of the ones on my City Walkabout. We have one in our Jungle.

There are many different types, not sure what this one is.. this is what Wikipedia on Banyans says

Click Here to see other types that I have in former posts on these Amazing Trees.

  20. What beautiful, amazing trees. Never seen anything like them. Florida has such beautiful plants and trees and you take terrific pictures of all the beauty.

The storms missed us by about 4 miles. Hundreds of trees down and damage to buildings and homes there from strong straight line winds and flooding. There were 4 tornadoes but they were not near us. We just had heavy rain and flash flooding. Had no internet for awhile, transformer exploded and burned up my modem. Our electricity stayed on though. I had just gotten a new modem so I have had two new modems in less than 2 weeks. Thanks for thinking of me and asking about us. Hugs
