Sunflowers! God's Smiley Faces

I finally found a field of sunflowers. We drove 45 miles in traffic for me to take these photos. Who knew we had a sunflower farm that close?

and I wandered for many hours

April Fool!!!!!    I was in the Wal-Mart Parking Lot.

  1. Oh you had me going. It didn't even occur to me that this might be an April Fools joke but I was wondering how you got Bob to wander for hours in a sunflower field :)

  2. I, too, wondered how you got Bob to tag along while you photographed those beautiful sunflowers, let alone how he braved your traffic to take you sunflower hunting! LOL. Got me on that one! Our sunflowers are flowering now and looking too beautiful. And only minutes outside our town!

  12. You fooled me GOOD! I was wondering why you would drive so far in the traffic. I really BELIEVED you! Here, we do not get sunflowers till toward the end of summer. I LOVE these, and I love sunflowers!! They are my second favorite flower!! Your pictures are beautiful and glorious!! My favorites are the first three. New neighbors are moving in across the street, and we went over to meet them. They had retired to Florida, but moved back here because of all the traffic and heat! They have a cute little Westie named Zoe.
