We watch about 95 % of our TV from the DVR because the commercials drive us nuts. I am in charge of Fast Forward when we watch together. Last night I stopped to watch the above commercial.. Bob said What are you doing? I said "admiring the ventriloquist dummies,
No, I did not stop to take a photo... but the next day I saw the commercial running and snapped it. Just For You!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots of riding the horses!! And the dummies, too. I have never seen either of these!! Yes, we record and then watch when we have the time. It is so much faster this way and we can watch more if we go thru the commercials. But if I see something I like while forwarding, I always stop to check it out! I have a saved several commercial snaps of mine and plan to post them one day! I even snap nature shows to post and have several of them! I don't know if I am as Mad as you or just as Mad as a Hatter.

ReplyDeleteI took the Santa Clause Parade as you know. The American parade football too. Where the images hang on strings.I found that so fascinating. I did find one has to go quickly as the director filming live on t.v the parade characters go fast from one thing to another.

ReplyDeleteI agree on the commercials. We DVR most of our shows so we don't have to watch the commercials. I get a little stewed at Greg when he falls asleep during a show and I'm forced to watch an ad. I think I should have control of the remote. He disagrees but can't seem to stay awake. Talk about your first world problems! I like the fixes you did to the horse pics!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite commerical is the one with the dog's owner 'teasing' it with a treat..saying who wants a treat, who wants a treat. The dog (I think a Jack Russel) says me me I want a treat, and it ends with something similar to next time no need to ask.

ReplyDeleteWe are the same can't stand commercials. We use a system called IQ with Foxtel. So we can record and the FF through commercials. Occasionally I see a funny one like the Spec Saver one.

ReplyDeleteI often pause to take a photo of something on TV. However we do DVR everything. Mark even does that with sports like golf and football. We dislike commercials too!
