I assume Geese can't read, since they were all parked right by the fence yelling at me to give them food. I think that is what they were saying. Photos taken at Bishop Animals Shelter. Yes, they have to rescue geese.

I wonder how long they stay at the rescue place and where they end up at. Fun shots!
ReplyDeleteGeese always fascinate me...they have such personalities!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots of the different geese waiting for you at the fence. I think it's wonderful that they rescued these geese.
ReplyDeleteI think those geese may be from around here. We've seen many of them already heading south. Maybe a harbinger of an early winter around here.
ReplyDeleteBest,
Bonnie
I never thought about Rescued Geese before. I guess they need help too.
ReplyDeleteWe have about 10 geese that live in the apartment complex a few blocks from us.
They have a pond with a fountain that the geese think is their own.
Just about every day they fly in formation right over our house to go to another house that also has a pond. They fly so low we could almost touch them. I love their calls as they go over head. It makes me feel like I'm in the country while in the suburbs.
I love these photos, beautiful geese :)
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed all and your entry on fences as well for Texgal.
ReplyDeleteGreat goose shots Sandra, hope they get adopted real soon.
ReplyDeleteThey may not talk, but they sure can peck you if you bother them.
ReplyDeleteGeese can be pushy! Great shots. I love the closeups.
ReplyDeleteMaybe geese can read and they are just rebellious :) Love the shots. The last one is my favorite
