Of Bikes and Lizards and side yard sunshine

When returning from our front yard after a photo shoot with shadows, the side yard junk ART caught my attention. .
I Saw the bike, I saw the weeds, I SNAPPED!

I did not see the lizard until I SNAPPED! and he jumped right where my camera was aimed.
Notice he is as long as the brake handle.
While snapping I saw his 1st cousin on the fence and his 1st cousin once removed sitting on the stump.
All three are males and we have hundreds of their families everywhere.

3 different male brown Anoles taken at same time within a few feet of each other

  8. It may sound funny, but I really miss the lizards we had in Texas. We have spiders up here in the Pacific Northwest and they aren't half as cute!

  10. Cute as they always look in your pictures, I'm not sure I'd love to have hundreds of them about... Do they ever sneak into the house as well?

  14. Leapin' lizards! So I'm curious. When you get that many males all so close together, do they ever get aggressive and have have little lizard boxing matches?
