Eyem Back.

I consider my left eye cataract surgery a miracle. by night fall I could watch TV without my glasses.
And it doesn't matter at all that I will be living with 4 bottles of drops for a whole month, 4 times  day. I have my trusty timer and I can SEE to use it..  In my prior post I was concerned about how I would look with no makeup or hair spray.,.. Now you know. The thing is looking like the two bad pics above I was The Prettiest Woman In the Waiting Room. I kid you NOT... I looked at everyone there, about 10 women and thought Oh Wow and I was worried about how I look....

I have been feeling depressed before my eye surgery, but they sent me to the low vision centre..

Did you make  spectacles of yourself while I was gone?  Sorry if my puns keep getting cornea...

SEE? nothing changed while eye was gone.

  2. Hello, I do not wear makeup because of my allergies. So I must look bad all the time, lol. I am so glad your surgery went well and you can see so well, that is awesome.

I love the funnies and corneas.
    Happy weekend to you.

  5. Isn't it just wonderful? It's like a miracle. Fresh brand new eyes. Your skin is flawless, so pretty. Before and after are totally different than the other two! The worry is worse than the surgery. No pain ever? Those waiting rooms are geezer city. Seems to me that more women than men get cataracts.

  7. So thankful you are doing so well! Amazing how quickly your sight improved; truly a miracle. So proud for you. You look beautiful. I stopped wearing makeup about 3 years ago. My eyes itch due to allergies and I just look plain all the time BUT I feel good, so I let my smile be my makeup. Your smile and eye color are gorgeous!

  12. What, no eye patch? Looking LOTS better than I would have suspected, Sandra!

Off topic a minute ... what's this about frozen shoulder I saw on FB?? I 'caught' that 5-6 years ago and swear, nothing had/has ever hurt like that. I literally had to slither into my blouses/dresses; it got to the point I wished they just amputate my arm! Hopefully yours is a thing of the past, as well?

PS - That's pretty cute about winning the Prettiest Woman in the Waiting Room. Doesn't that deserve a Culver's?

  18. Nothing changed except you can see!!! You give me hope. I have been tending toward gloom at my eyesight. It's a couple months before my visit to eye doc. Likely cataract action is in my future, too.
