The Museum Car at Bob's Train, has posters and photos of times and people in the past of the circus. The ceilings in both cars are wonderful. This one cast yellow light on everyone and every photo/poser. This is what we saw, no color edit at all but what my camera saw.
What planet is like a circus?

What wonderful memories! And not just for the circus people, but for us, to remember the circus history from years past. Light over the ceiling too. Spectacular!! I know I told you how much I like that cat in the pumpkin you are holding, but I will tell you again!

ReplyDeleteMy boss always told a story about when he was a kid the circus came to town, an elephant got loose and went on a rampage, ran in someone's house, and the floor fell through to the basement with its weight, and it had to be killed. Can you imagine trying to get it out. I don't know why I didn't ask him how they did that, cause he told that story more than once.

ReplyDeleteP.S. LOVE your header today! And the train museum picture of the sad clown/tramp, I WOULD love. But clowns have been loitering in the woods, trying to take children, and going around in gangs. The police can't catch any yet, but they are now in several states.Maybe they will stop now that Halloween is over.

ReplyDeleteMy (late) Uncle and Aunt would have adored this place. In his role as minister for 'show folks' he befriended and presided at Emmet Kelly's widow's (re)marriage.
Elderly, childless and humorless sort of fellow, I was always a bit afraid of Uncle Lu and Aunt Bert, but I guess they loved their adopted friends from Ringling with a passion.
Emmet Kelly...now there's a clown! That is a cool train car and I'd love to see it. Btw, I like your new header.
