This is what I see when I walk for 20 minutes round and round the pool each day.
Bob's seed of an avocado grew to be the giant tree in the middle of the photo... I decided to play with the extreme mono setting on my Nikon.. can you find Bob?

These avocado trees must be very fast growers! It is gorgeous, and maybe the centerpiece of your yard! I love the reflection. Gorgeous deep blues and greens. Has one ever fallen and bonked person or dog?

I bet that is Bob with the legs? haha....Never had a lot of dealings with Avocado trees. But my son's in laws had them growing on their property, lots of them and they sold them at the local restaurants. But I love them, very tasty! I think after my 20 min walk I would jump in the pool.
ReplyDeleteAlmost all the moon names were named by the American Indians. They named them according to what was going on in nature, like wolf, snow buck, beaver, and strawberry. Each full moon has more then one name, too. This one is also the Egg Moon, full sprouting grass, and fish.

ReplyDeleteI've often wondered if I plant an avocado seed after scoring it and getting it started, if it'd grow in our area. Being that you're temperate zone is similar to ours, perhaps I'll try it.
ReplyDeleteYes I see him....and I also see just how CLEAN your patio door is!! Wish mine could be cleaned. If only we didn't have to tear down the hurricane shutters.
Oh and those black bugs on the hibiscus [I was told long ago with soapy dish water it'd also work. And they never came back either.]
Seems that anything Bob plants just grows and does well.

ReplyDeleteI used to try and grow avacados (paper-cup and toothpick) but failed miserably. They must love that terra firma around your home.
Very pretty avacado tree. My mom planted a seed in a pot years ago and it was a beautiful plant. I can see Bob by your nice pool. What a great view to enjoy while walking around the pool. Hugs
