Eclipse it!

Almost closed today, but here we go.... You can tell I need a hair cut. I am trying to get an appointment with my hairdresser, which is my husband Bob. He has cut my hair for 33 years now. and Yes I HAVE been wearing the same hair style for 38 years. Do you want to know how he cuts it?
Eclipse IT, silly......
Don't stare at the sun today without glasses. Mine are safe, I got them off Google Images and Picmonkeyed them on. HE HE HE we will be watching on TV or Facebook live streaming.

What did the sun say when it reappeared after an eclipse?
Pleased to heat you again....

  1. So you're going to watch it? I am too SCARED! Plus, most places are sold out of the glasses. You look so GOOD! Your hair looks good, too! You are getting skinny, while I am getting fat. Must start the diet again this week. I have you BEAT. I have been wearing the exact same hair style since 1973. You do the math, cause I sure can't. Maybe 45 years?

  2. We won't see the eclipse except later this evening on a PBS news show. Today is our anniversary and we are on a short road trip in MA. Looking forward to your reactions, Sandra. You look good in your glasses. I have had the same hair style for quite a few years as well.

  3. Hello Sandra, love the photo and glasses. Unless we find glasses this morning we can not view the eclipse. The puns are cute.

Happy Monday, enjoy the eclipse and your day.

  4. Eclipse it...rofl. You are the queen of play on words. I read somewhere that you can watch the eclipse using your cell phone camera in selfie mode. You put it on selfie to face you and then watch the eclipse over your shoulder.

I might stand on the back porch (no sun back there) to see if the birds quit chirping and singing. I have heard the will.

  7. Been cutting the RG's hair for many many years - #3 all over :). He started 'bobbing' the back of mine a few months ago and I take care of the top and sides---teamwork.
I will opt for t.v. eclipse coverage and hope the RG does too since he is already legally blind in one eye.

  8. Won't be watching from this end, but you go ahead and have fun for us all. Cute story about the haircut. I hope you are well, warm greeting!

  9. Have fun! My eyes are already bad enough, so I'm watching it on TV.

  11. I wear your hairstyle same as yours for years. Not much we can do with short styled hair. I cut my own hair in Winter time. The bangs grow so long. Long bangs look nice but then they are a nuisance too.

I am going to watch on t.v. also.

I am too scared to chance the glass's
My eyes are not the greatest now. So I don't want to go blind instantly. They can burn a hole in the Retina they say.

Did you see my new blog. I did some silly Whimsical's.

Chris says she can if one clicks on my profile . Then my new blog is named Fantasy And Whimsical My
url wont show up proper. So ignore that. I tried to get it off. From my list. No dice.
Have yourself an awesome day. Maybe after your Barber man has his swim and refreshed. He might. Cut your I said. Might.

  14. It's me again!:=) My daughter-in-law and granddaughter are sunning themselves by the pool, and I have been indoors and out, for the last half hour. It's been a busy weekend with family and friends, so that's why I'm trying to catch up.

We will notice the eclipse when the room grows darker!:) I like your photo and glasses.

  16. We had darkness around 2:30; our solar lights in the garden came on. Theo cried and Jellybean looked out the window! lol

  19. "ECLIPSE it!" (Yes, I fell head-over-teakettle for that one!) I wish my hair was as easy to style as yours appears.

I'm truly surprised at all the hullabaloo over the solar eclipse ... and the prices they want for those sunglasses. And how is someone supposed to know if they're not a fake?
Better to watch on the computer!

  20. There was so much hype before the eclipse warning people not to look at it yet I never found one ad for glasses! I couldn't believe all of the parties I saw on TV today and all the people on Facebook who looked at it. Honestly, all I saw was negativity so I decided to stay inside. Of course we were not having a total eclipse here.

  21. It's hard to get in to a good hairdresser these days!
You are looking so young and fit! You and Bob both!
