Chain Thingy in Bray Park

Do you know what this is? We found many of them while doing our walkabout in the park. Neither of us had a clue what it was for.

I came home and posted a pic on FB and Instantly Got several answers..
DISC Golf...well I never...
Same as golf, same rules but with a suspended  catching device using feet not yards, same rules.
Live and learn.
Will let you know when we buy a couple of discs..

  6. I didn't know what they were either until I moved to Austin(a big college town)...seems like Disc golf is a "big thing" for college kids! I can hardly throw a frisbee and could never get the hang of it!

  10. We have one of those courses a few miles from our house.
It's pretty interesting watching people manuver the disks around all the obstacles and get it where it's suppose to go.

  14. Huh? (... sez the Confused One.) Sure seems a cheaper alternative to 'real' golf.+
Considering Bob's (RC aircraft) hobby, I'll bet he'd be good at this.
