FOG Dec. 23, 2017

Dec. 23, 2017, 8:49 AM.....  I, better known as,  MadSnapper, stood staring out the window at the FOG thinking I am glad I don't have to drive in this. Suddenly there was a loud SNAP! and the view through the window appeared on my camera. I thought, why should I mist this photo opp

and stepped out on the front porch for a better view. I tried to catch some fog for you, but I mist.

I mist my puns, did you mist my puns?  Ginny, the palm trees are for you.

Sometimes fog puns are just plain mist-ifying! as is the MIND of a MAD snapper

  1. You may have mist on the fog but you hit a bullseye with your post as usual. So what was the snap? Was that part of a tree in your yard that came down?

  2. Hello, I love the fog as long as I am not driving in it. The palm is my favorite, very pretty. Love the puns too. Glad you did not miss the photo op!

    Enjoy your day!

  6. Oh, WOW!!! The palm trees silhouetted against the fog are fabulously gorgeous!! It is nature art. They are even prettier in the fog than on a clear day!! I think the fog is almost like a white background, so it shows the fronds more clearly. I think fog makes things dreamy and beautiful anyway. But with your palms, it is all heavenly!!

  7. Too, Too funny.
I sure didn't mist the point.
When we lived just 1 mile from the Pacific Ocean the fog was a constant intruder to going anywhere.
Many a day we couldn't see 5 feet in front of us as we drove.
I don't "MIST" it at all.

We do get tulle fog here in the Sacramento valley sometimes in the winter months. It can be scary too as everything can be clear one minute and the next it's like someone pulled the shade down.

    Great photos Sandra.

  8. I love foggy days ... as long as I'm not behind the wheel. Only once have I had to slow and pull off the side of the road ... scary stuff!
These splashes of yellow and rust are way cool!

  11. We often have fog settle on the wide lawn in front of our apartments. It's pretty and then the sun just melts it away.

  12. I just can't understand the mist-ery of fog...

On another note, the other day I was quoting a bit of your Frosty the Snowman to Sarah. Lorelei is
Like await Mamaw, it goes like this....and quotes the whole thing to her. We only read it a couple times the morn I showed it to her.

  13. If you’re mad then it’s the best kind of mad in the world! If more people were like you, the world would be a better place!
