Bigger than a Truck


Nature Friday has been provided by our Big Beautiful Powder Puff Bush, the one that is blooming and blooming. We planted this in 1989. It gets Big each year and Each year it is chopped back to four feet tall and the fun starts all over again.

Remember you can't plant flowers if you haven't botany!

    One of my favorites! I have an entire folder of your Powder Puff flowers in my picture gallery. Favorites are the last two.

    they sell this plant over here but it doesn't do too well. My daughter had one and it died, the climate isn't any good I think.

    I always love seeing these. They are so pretty. Of course I enjoyed all the puns too. Since I've never botany plants, my garden will not grow...lol

    I love this plant!
    The Dutch call her "lampenpoetsers plant" lamp cleaner plant, refers to the long flowering spikes, reminiscent of the tassels that used to clean petroleum lamps.

    Wow! Exotic and lovely. But the first botanical pun made me laugh. We are at our favorite coffee shop with our computers. Evidently my response to Hubby's query about what was funny lost something in the translation.
