Diamonds In the Sky

Like Diamonds in the sky,
Like Diamonds in the sky,
Shining Like diamonds in the sky.
We are beautiful, like diamonds in the sky. Rianna

Photos taken by MadSnapper on morning sunrise Walk. I walk from 6:40 am - 7:40 am. Shooting into the sun makes it appear to be dark. You can see the sun is well above the earth and was blinding me.
UPDATE: I am suffering from hand/shoulder pains, with no idea what it is. When the pain gets bad, I will be missing a post here and there... It is not RA but no idea what it is..

  1. I like this song. The tree silhouettes combined with the way the clouds are is just stunning.

  4. Really pretty! Best time of day for me. Arthur is on the Atlantic coast & since you had no post yesterday, I thought maybe the Gulf coast lost power or something.

  5. Hello, Sandra

Beautiful sky captures, I love the tree silhouette and pretty clouds.
I hope you feel better soon, have you heard about your test results yet? Take care and enjoy your day!

  6. Hopefully just a strain that will heal soon.
Did you get any rain from that 'mackerel' sky? Usually a good indicator.

  8. Hi Sandra, I love, love, love those images. And the song is perfect for them. Sorry about your hand and shoulder pains. I agree with Cecelia that we all are at our computers much more these past months. I hope you feel better soon. Be safe and take care. Jo

  9. Great choice of lyrics to accompany your photos!
I've begun walking again 2-3 days a week, but recognize I need to schedule a time (like you) and stick with it. I was always a regimented(?) kind of person, but since I retired and left to my own devices, I'm giving 'flounder' a whole new meaning.
Happy to hear it's not RA; I wonder if you might not benefit from a nerve induction study? One of the ladies at Bible study had that done last week because she was experiencing pain in not only her hands, but her feet -- even her gums.

  10. It was a gorgeous view - hard to believe it was so sunny.
Glad you do not have RA.
I do have the shoulder hand thing - it is so painful.
My hand doctor gave me shots - bone on bone in the thumbs - it helped for awhile but came back. I do wear a thumb bandage sometimes.
    Hope you feel better.

  11. So sorry to hear about your pain. It's hard not to be using your hands and shoulders, and, of course, that makes it hard to give them a rest. The photos are gorgeous. Soon we will have to begin walking early in the day. It gets just too muggy if you wait too long.

  12. I am glad it is not RA...but wish there were something to be done for it. Do the breathing exercises help? Where you sit with good posture...feet flat on the floor, breathe in slowly and deeply through the nose and blow out the mouth. Do that a few times. That can do wonders for me...learned it when I had the frozen shoulders. Also, consciously relax your shoulders. This all may sound stupid, but it is something to try. And can really help me sometimes.

  14. I am so sorry you are still in pain...not RA?? I wonder what it is?
Your sunrise photos are so beautiful. Our sky this morning is a solid gray and leaking quite a bit.
I was hoping to get out and walk ...hopefully it will clear up and Dave and I can get out.
    Take care

  15. Beautiful pictures. i too have shoulder pain most days. I think it might be related to too much computer/phone time, since it is primarily in my right shoulder. I am right handed.

  16. I love the morning sunrise walk ...
Try to keep the painful areas warm. My husband has major back problems (he had cancer and a vertebra is completely broken) and in intense pain he uses Nurofen 200mg Medicated Plaster or Robax HeatWraps (3 Count), Thermacare Lower Back & Hip, S - XL, Non-Medicated Pain Therapy.
    They are very efficient! Hugs!

  18. I am usually turning over in bed about the time you are heading out for your walk!! You get to see things I seldom if ever see. WHY? Because you get up early in the morning! Roger Miller has a song about that......

  19. I'm not familiar with the song or the singer. These are pretty pictures though.
