HOOLA HOOLA Girl from 2008

While looking for the zoo photos I posted for zoo day, I found about 3000, no lie photos I took while a volunteer at assisted living. I was the photographer and when they had events or specials occasions I took photos and made them into DVD movies and we played them over and over on the big screen TV.

The residents were fasicanted with this young dancer, as was I. The MEN loved her! We moved them into the cafeteria for special events like this.

  1. Good for you for volunteering! I can see that would be fun to do and that it would be greatly appreciated. A win-win if there ever was one.

  2. LOOK at that flat stomach! Maybe I need to take up Hula dancing. But it would be more like hula jiggling for me!

  7. Hello,

Fun photos of the hula dancer or belly dancer. I could not move like that, my hips and back would hurt, lol. Have a great day!

  8. She is a pretty girl...I have read two or three blogs where older women take up belly dancing...I am like Eileen...I would probably come out the worse for wear.

  12. Great photos! Art in Dance, always interesting to see the different movements that can often translate into words. Like the hula dancer I always enjoyed watching.

  13. Those dancers' hip gyrations totally fascinate me. I've heard there's actually exercise classes that teach that. Me, I'm so uncoordinated, I'd probably wind up in a heap on the floor.

I'm so impressed that the nursing home hosted those special events for the residents, and you memorialized them on video.
